Athina is female, almost 4 years old healthy young dog with low energy level. She is sterilized, vaccinated and chipped standard sized Tosa Inu (Japanese mastiff).

She is friendly with her own people, including children, she is accepting with other people. In general, she has a high guarding instinct at home. She walks two times a day, around 30…40min each time. She does not need more walking. The dog is a very easy walker. As she was very active at young age, she had a knee surgery (meniscus), that she has no problems with now. On the other hand, it should be now avoided to have periodic runs with her. She likes to play with toys, including larger balls. She does not fit together with other animals, all walks should always be on leash. She is focused on her humans and needs close relations to her master. She is more focused on one person, who acknowledges her masters friends, but does not mingle with them. She has been to obedience training and obeys orders well. The dog was taught in Greek language.

The dog is looking for an economically insured home with grown up people, who recommendedly has been involved with the breed. Not for first-time dog owners or families with other pets or small children. Own house is recommended so that she could be let loose to sniff around. Not for sporty people who wish to train with the dog. The dog handler must be able to read the body language of dogs while being righteous amongst the dog and family members. The handler should also be able to teach children to interact with the dog. She tends to stay away and not care about children and therefore it must always be checked by grown-ups, that children would not be harassing and intrusive with the dog. The dog does not want to be touched much and so she needs enough time to get accustomed to her new family. She is rather a single owner dog and be besides that one person most of the time. She is a warmhearted affectionate giant, who looks for a peaceful every day routine, a place in her own warm home.

The dog is given up for some very difficult family relations. Another issue of her abandonment is her noticeable jealousy towards the other dog in the family. The dog is in Estonia and ready to meet with serious candidates, who are willing to work with her, feel her personality, offer her quality food and timely medical assistance, be patient and offer her discipline and love.
